Folic Acid is N-[4-[[(2-Amino-1,4-Dihydro-4-Oxo-6- Pteridinyl) Methyl] Amino] Benzoyl]-L-Glutamic Acid.
Folic Acid occurs as yellow or yellow-orange crystals or crystalline powder. About 1.6mg dissolves in 1 ml of water.
Folic Acid is insoluble in Acetone, Alcohol, Chloroform and ether, but dissolves in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates.
The pH of a suspension of 1 g in 10 ml of water is between 4.0 and 4.8.

Usage:
Folic Acid is used as nutritional supplements, Vitamins, energy drinks, tablets, liquid gel capsules
Packing and Storage:
Folic Acid is packed in 20 or 25 kg cardboard drums with two PE liner bags or as otherwise agreed upon.
Folic Acid should be stored in a cool, dry ambient environment and escape from light.
Shelf Life:
The shelf life of Folic Acid is 3 years from the date of manufacture if stored in ambient room temperature conditions and escaping from light.
Folic Acid should be reevaluated if it exceeds expiration date.
